Sunday night

Well. School is out for the summer and we are relaxing a little before
we head to the USA. Built a bookshelf and bought some beach chairs.
Also we only have 1:39 to change flights in Atlanta so we are looking
at only bringing carryon luggage. Should be fun to pack. I love my
wife and daughter. Miss my friends and family but I am happy and
enjoying life.

Just posting to my blog by sending an email. Cool huh? We will be in
the US in about 9 days. Yeah!!

Well, I just decided to make this my homepage. I was able to add the blogger site as a gadget. So now I can post more often. We will see if that happens :)

Happy New Year!

Well 2008 has past. It was a good year, full of LOTS of changes for us, some good and some not. I am glad to be moving on and look forward to great things to come.

We are settling in well and finally "adjusted" to Venezuela....I think? We rang in the new years with an old friend, some new ones and family. They love fireworks here and things keep going until at least 3:00 a.m. The weirdest was watching the ball drop. Compared to NY, we are 30 ahead of them, so we were not sure if we were able to celebrate or if we had to wait for the ball, but we came to the conclusion that you don't get to celebrate the New year on a half-hour increment very often, so we went for it. We missed the snow and warmth from the states, but my parents made sure to call and wish us a happy new year......but they did call 5 hours early and a "LITTLE" tipsy. Come to think of it, I haven't heard from them since. Hope all is well.
